Classroom Assistants
Teachers often need support in the classroom to work with children in small groups in different learning areas in the classrooms. Volunteers may be asked to work one-on-one with children, clean the classroom and assisting with various administrative tasks.

Volunteer Readers
Literacy is such a big focus for our early childhood program. We are always in need of volunteers to read to WOD students.

School Beautification Project (suggested for groups of 10 or more)
At regular intervals, our facilities require routine cleaning and maintenance including cleaning the playground equipment, washing the walls and disinfecting toys and indoor play areas. Artists are invited to design and paint murals for our hallways or paint our classrooms on weekends.

Field Trip Sponsors
In addition to curriculum-based field trips, volunteers may sponsor an outside activity for our children and serve as chaperones and/or coordinators for the event.

Event Volunteers 
Throughout the year, WOD hosts a variety of events for WOD students and their families. These events are supported in large part by our passionate and committed volunteers.
